This very popular Derby Tweed field coat makes a great shooting jacket, or just a smart traditionally styled outdoor coat ideal for walking the dog or watching the Rugby.

Moleskin trim on the collar, and bellows pockets. Warm lined hand warmer pockets. Internal Wallet pocket in chest. Eight inch square Poacher's Pocket inside front of coat. Fitted with storm cuffs inside sleeves, press stud fastening and heavy duty 2 way metal zip (non metal zip for size XS). Quilted nylon lining for extra warmth.

The cut is on the large/husky side, designed for comfort.

Incorporates a breathable, waterproof interliner membrane between the inner and outer fabrics to give the wearer added protection in outdoor conditions. Please note that the interliner does not have fully storm sealed seams and therefore this jacket is not considered 100% waterproof.

Available in two traditional tweed patterns.

Quality Italian Tweed manufactured in traditional Derby Tweed pattern. 50% Wool for feel and warmth, 45% hard wearing Acrylic, 5% other fibres. Great quality, years of wear, for a amazingly low price.

Sizing Tip; when laid flat and measured across the front chest, 
the small measures 22 inches, the Medium measures 23 inches, 
the Large measures 24 inches, the XL measures 25 inches, 
the XXL measures 27 inches, 
with no substantial change for the waist.

Try comparing these measurements to a jacket that fits.

It is recommended that you allow up to six inches for ease of movement and additional clothing - so the XL is considered to fit a 46" chest, and XXL to be for a 48" chest.

This coat is manufactured by Bronte Outdoor Clothing, although it was not previously branded as such. All coats now have the Bronte label and swing tag. Please note that the coats may or may not have Bronte branded Studs, but will not have the Bronte collar badge.
 

The three layer construction technique used in your Bronte Tweed Jacket uses a technically advanced and proven method used in the manufacture of foul weather protective clothing. The interliner provides a solid barrier to external conditions whilst allowing internal body perspiration to be conducted to the outer surface of the garment.The system creates maximum protection against the weather whilst maintaining maximum comfort. Please note that the membrane does not have storm sealed seams and therefore the garment cannot be considered 100% waterproof.

The Tweed Shooting Jacket is also suitable for Ladies (although the fit is large), as shown left, please note it fastens on the male side. Shown below in the Pale Tweed with Check overlay.
