Tips on how to measure yourself successfully:
You might need someone to help you so you can measure easily and more precisely. Wear whatever you intend to wear under your jacket and stand in a normal relaxed position. Place the measuring tape around the chest/body at its widest point. The tape should be reasonably taught, but not too tight.
If you allow enough space to slide a finger under the tape, you will get the correct measurements. Choose the size that corresponds to the measured size of your chest. For example a 41 inch chest is a size Large.
Care Instructions
Gentle Wash inside out - Don't use softeners - or
Special gentle dry clean
Impregnated with ”Downproof” water repellent treatment. Means fabric is water and dirt-resistant. Stains are easier to remove.
Thinsulate insulation is the smartest choice if staying warm is important to you. When you compare equal thicknesses, the original "warmth without bulk" Thinsulate insulation offers almost one-and-one-half times the warmth of down, and twice the warmth of other high-loft insulation materials.

Thinsulate insulation Fibres Versus Traditional Synthetic Fibres
Note that the Thinsulate fibres are much finer and that there are far more of them - imagine that they are a net designed to capture warm air and stop it escaping, the more strands in the web the less air can escape.
