A traditionally styled country flat cap made from British tweed.
Manufactured by Heather Hats using finest Wool tweed sourced from Mallalieus of Delph - fine tweed producers.
Fully Lined - Luxury Quilted Polyester Satin Lining throughout for comfort and warmth.
Fitted with band (non elasticated) to ensure cap does not slip once in position.
Lining is Quilted for extra warmth. Lining colour matching Green.
Features a deep back divided into four sections ensuring a good fit and the superior shaping common to Heather caps
The stiffened peak is curved downwards at the edges forming the classic flat cap shape - the nature of the peak ensures this shape will be maintained over time.
Peak is shaped to fit comfortably on the forehead
The peak is fully stitch attached, and does not allow the cap to be worn with the upper portion detached.

Herringbone describes a distinctive V-shaped weaving pattern usually found in wool tweed fabric. It is distinguished from a plain chevron by the break at reversal, which makes it resemble a broken zigzag. The pattern is called herringbone because it resembles the skeleton of a herring fish.
