These terms and conditions apply to all transactions conducted online, by e-mail or telephone with Holland's Country Clothing.

They are here to make clear your rights and reassure you that your shopping experience will be a satisfying one, that your privacy and payments will be totally secure, and that we comply with all relevant legislation.

Please read them carefully. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. By placing an order with Holland's Country Clothing you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

Holland's 'No Worries' 28-day Returns Policy 

Normal Terms and Conditions Apply, see below for details 

At Holland's we believe you should be completely happy with your purchase.

If this is not the case, for whatever reason, you can return an item under our 28 day 'No Worries' return policy (period now extended, see above).

All that we ask is that you return the item - unused, with all labels attached and in its original packaging - within 28 days of receipt.

Please return the packing slip, containing bags, packaging and all labels, with the item. Please DO NOT return items in bin bags. 

Please zip up, button/stud up, and fold the item carefully, so it is returned in the condition you received it.

We strongly recommend that you use a signed for service, via a reputable courier, such as Royal Mail for smaller items and Parceline for larger items, with adequate insurance to cover the value of the item. To facilitate a speedy exchange or refund, please include your packing slip and note stating the reason for the return and whether you require an exchange or refund.

The Customer is responsible for the cost of returning items (unless items are faulty or incorrectly sent)

Our returns address can be found on our contact page and the on documents you received with your order.

If you are returning an item that is not faulty in any way you will be liable for the postage costs and these will not be refunded as part of the return.

Please note, used items cannot be returned unless faulty.

Holland's Country Clothing cannot be held responsible for non-receipt of returned goods ( - it is advisable to use a signed for / tracked service).
Nor can we be held responsible for items damaged during their return shipping.
In both preceding cases the customer will need to claim against their shipping service provider.


Making an Exchange

We are happy to exchange any item you have purchased under our Holland's 'No Worries ' 28-day Returns Policy

So if you are unhappy with a size or colour, just send it back and we can make an exchange according to your instructions.

To facilitate a speedy exchange, please include your packing slip and note stating all the information necessary to exchange your item. Please note in certain cases stock limitations may mean we are unable to fulfil an exchange as required, in which case we are happy to offer a refund.

When returning an item for an exchange please return the packing slip, containing bags, packaging and all labels (still attached), with the item. Please zip up, button/stud up, and fold the item carefully, so it is returned in the condition you received it. Unfortunately, used items cannot be exchanged.


Cancellation of an order

If you wish to cancel an order, please e-mail us immediately.

If notification of cancellation is received before an order has begun been processed we will immediately send a full refund including all your postage costs. In some circumstances we will not be able to cancel orders even if they have not been dispatched. 

If an order has been sent out you will need to return it to us unused, with all labels attached and in its original packaging - within 28 days of receipt.

We are unable to refund your postage costs unless the item is faulty or there is an error in the delivery. Please note, used items cannot be returned as cancelled.


Faulty Items

All products are covered by your statutory rights.

Please note we can only be responsible for product failure due to defective workmanship or materials.

We are not responsible for product failure if the product was not used for its intended purpose or was damaged by accident, misuse or neglect.

Furthermore we are not responsible for failure of an item due to fair wear and tear or ageing.

If you have a legitimate claim for a product failing please contact us by Email with details of the product, fault and age.


Damaged Items and Delivery Mistakes

In the event of any goods being delivered faulty, damaged in transit or incorrect according to the packing slip/invoice then we will accept full responsibility and refund or exchange the item.

Please notify us immediately if you have a problem, a lengthy delay may affect our ability to place a claim against a courier for a transit damaged item.

Please note we cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by the courier company. Liability in those cases is limited to the value of those items, which are shown not to have been received by the customer. We are unable to refund any postage costs unless the item was sent in error by ourselves, faulty or damaged upon delivery.


Order Processing, Dispatch and Delivery Times

Once an order is placed we aim to dispatch goods as soon as possible - this period will vary depending upon work load and timing, and may be as early as the same day, but is more likely to be the next working day.

We make every effort to ensure that delivery takes place as quoted, but cannot guarantee delivery times. In the event that we cannot deliver your order, or a part of your order we will inform you within two working days - a full refund will be immediately available to you.

This applies to all UK destinations including Scottish Highlands and Islands, and N. Ireland. However, remote locations may experience a delay on quoted delivery times.

Please note all quoted postal delivery times are from notification of an order being shipped, not from the notification of the order having been placed

During busy periods orders placed with paid delivery will be prioritised over Free Delivery.

Please note, in certain cases we reserve the right to refund any order that is not economically viable to deliver.

Overseas Orders

We are pleased to accept orders from outside the United Kingdom.

Once you have decided which items you would like to purchase please add them to the shopping cart and enter your delivery address. Once you have proceeded to this point the website will calculate your shipping costs. We are constantly working to try to offer the most competitive prices, and therefore we don't list them here. 

We currently cover an ever expanding list of countries. We cover Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand & many more. If on checkout the website states that we do not currently ship to your delivery destination, please get in touch and we would be happy to provide you with a delivery cost estimate. 

Please note in exceptional cases where weight or size restrictions are exceeded it may be necessary for additional carriage charges to be levied. If this is the case you will be contacted by email. In certain circumstances we reserve the right to cancel and refund orders.

We currently us DHL as our courier for all of our international shipments. We have trialled a number of companies over the years, and have found them to offer the best level of service. The main advantage of DHL is that they collect the shipments and deliver them to you themselves, they don't hand over to third party shippers. 

DHL offer two delivery options, although both may not be available dependant upon your delivery location. 


DHL Economy Select (Europe)

Economy shipping door-to-door delivery within a certain number of days, dependant upon destination. For an estimated delivery date please contact us once your order has been placed.

DHL Express Worldwide

A door-to-door delivery by the end of the next possible working day. For an estimated delivery date please contact us once your order has been placed.

Costs are based upon consignments complying with standard Airmail volumetric size and weight restrictions.


Please note in cases where volumetric restrictions are exceeded additional charges may be necessary. We will contact you via email if this is the case. In certain circumstances we reserve the right to refuse the order and provide a full refund.

For further clarification of shipping costs and volumetric restrictions please feel free to send an email. If you provide details of your proposed order we can advise of any potential issues.

Special conditions apply to International Returns and Exchanges

International customers can return items for refunds, but are liable for the return shipping costs

Where an international customer wishes to exchange an item they must return the original order for a refund and place a new order for the required item


Secure Payment

To ensure your shopping experience at Holland's Country Clothing is safe and secure we accept payment through a third-party payment provider - namely Shopify.

We also allow payment via PayPal, the world's most popular secure method of delivering online payment for goods and services.

It is not necessary to open a Paypal account to place an order with us, Paypal simply process your payment safely for you.

You are able to use any card of your choice, or pay through a Paypal account.

We receive none of your financial details, so there is no potential for fraud or financial data loss on our part.

We stock a very wide range of products, in a huge range of sizes and colours.

The website updates to show which items are out of stock, and our inventory control system will stop you buying an item that has become out of stock in the short time period between website updates.

So you can place an order with every confidence that you will not be disappointed.

However, in a very small number of cases, due to an inventory error an order might be placed for an item that proves to be out of stock. In such circumstances we make a full and immediate refund of your entire payment to us.

Every effort is made to ensure that pictures accurately represent the products they show, and that colours are accurate, however, due to technical limitations (eg monitor setups) and slight product variations this is not always possible.

All prices are shown in pound sterling (£) and include UK VAT at 20.00 % unless items are exempt under UK tax law.

We reserve the right to alter specifications and prices, and remove items from sale without notice when this is necessary.

All prices displayed on the website are subject to change - this will not affect the price of an order after it has been placed.


Your Privacy

At Holland's Country Clothing we realise your privacy is of the utmost importance.

We never release your personal details to third parties for mailing or marketing purposes.

When you make a purchase from Holland's County Clothing we retain a copy of the order and only the information contained within (including your name, email address, delivery address, etc.) - this is used purely to record the transaction should we need to refer to it at a later date. 
This information is treated as fully confidential.

At Hollands Country Clothing we value our customers, when you choose to purchase a product from us we automatically add you to our mailing list. We do this as we like to keep you updated on any offers, discounts or new products which are coming into stock. We promise to send no more than two emails a month to our customers as we understand how frustrating it is to receive a consistent barrage of spam emails every day. We also send you a welcome email once you have purchased from us detailing this promise, at this point if you do not want to receive any further emails simply click the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of the email and we will remove you permanently from our mailing list. Alternatively simply send us a quick email to ask us to remove you.


Use of Cookies

Shopify doesn't store ANY information in cookies. Instead of cookies, we use the browser`s local storage.

For unregistered customer the following information is stored:
- the number of 
- the preferable category layout
- the ID of the opened Shopify store

If customer adds any product to cart, the local storage will also contain:
- products added to cart
- the shipping address which is automatically detected by IP

If customer goes to checkout, the local storage will have:
- the billing and the shipping address entered during checkout

If customer has created an account or has logged in, it will also have:
- Shopify session token
