Abisko Adventure Trousers are comfortable trousers with 4-way stretch. The legs and back are made of an extra durable fabric with Rip-stop, and a soft inside that is comfortable against the skin. Together with our nylon stretch and reinforcements of Nylon Oxford, the trousers are perfect for hiking in dense terrain as well as on the mountain. High-stress seams are double-needle stitched for extra strength. The trousers are water repellent due to an ecological impregnation. They have ventilation zippers in the sides which can be opened to release excess heat and increase airflow during higher activity. The waistband, in addition to the belt, can be adjusted with burdock and is higher at the back so the pants always stay in place when you move around. Pre-bent knees provide increased flexibility and the leg bottoms are reinforced with PU-coated Nylon Oxford that protects against wetness and terrain. Abisko Adventure Trousers are equipped with a boot hook that holds the trousers in place and has four zipped pockets for safe storage. The crotch has a gore for extra comfort.

These are lightweight trousers that are equipped with an integrated RECCO® reflector for extra safety. RECCO® is a rescue technique used by organised rescue teams to more quickly locate people lost in the wild or buried in avalanches. The reflector is built into the trousers and can be described as an antenna which is thus always with you. It is always running since it is not powered by batteries and does not need to be activated. The rescue team uses a RECCO® detector that sends out a signal. When it hits the reflector, the signal bounces back and the position of the reflector can be located. With a built-in RECCO® reflector, you can feel safer during outdoor activities such as picking mushrooms and berries or hiking on unknown ground.

NOTE roomy fit. The trousers consist of a very elastic fabric, so if you prefer a tight fit, choose a size smaller than you normally wear.
