November: The Machinery Show Season
As anyone familiar with agriculture knows, November can be a busy month in the farming calendar for machinery shows.
With Christmas just around the corner and winter setting in, many make the most of this last chance before the year’s out to see machinery in action and make those all-important business connections (all with a warm brew in hand, of course).
So, suppose you’re ready for networking over bacon rolls with friends, deals to be had, and ideas to take back to the farm. In that case, Hollands are here to bring you the go-to guide for November farming and Machinery events 2025, including the key national dates, and a look ahead to what’s coming in early 2026.
Please note that every effort has been made to provide the correct information here below, but we advise referring to the official websites or social media platforms for each event to stay up-to-date.
National Farming & Machinery Shows – The Big Three
We’ve harvested our top pick of the big three to attend in November this year:
1. Farm Business Innovation Show
When: 5th- 6th November
Where: NEC Birmingham
Not every November event is about horsepower and hydraulics, and kicking off the list this year is the Farm Business Innovation Show- a show bursting with innovation and forward-thinking ideas.
Hosted at the NEC, this two-day event brings together farmers, landowners and rural entrepreneurs to explore new solutions and opportunities to enhance and diversify their income, and help future-proof their businesses.
Here, you’ll meet a range of exhibitors ready to discuss income-generating opportunities beyond traditional farming, such as agritourism, renewable energy, direct-to-consumer sales, and much more. So, if you’ve ever toyed with the idea of glamping pods, farm shops, renewable energy, or agritourism, this is the place to don your dealer boots and get inspired.
It may not be a machinery-heavy event, but it’s one of the best UK agricultural shows for anyone thinking beyond the farm gate.
2. AgriScot
When: 19th November
Where: Royal Highland Centre, Edinburgh
While AgriScot began as a specialist dairy event, it has since grown in both popularity and reputation to become one of Scotland’s premier must-attend farm business events.
Still continuing to attract the top exhibitors to its high-quality dairy competition, the show now also hosts a strong machinery and business focus, making it more than just a showcase of equipment, but a hub of seminars, ideas, and agricultural innovation. Arable, pig and poultry farmers also continue to attend in large numbers, confirming AgriScot as an all-industry calendar event.
Along with the technical talk and business cards, make sure to pack a thermal base layer under your coat for this one, as November in Edinburgh can cause a chill before you’ve crossed the car park!
3. Midlands Machinery Show
When: 19th November
Where: Newark Showground
A firm favourite in the machinery calendar, the Midlands Machinery Show draws farmers from every corner of the UK, eager to explore a range of new products, services, machinery, industry innovations and the latest in agricultural technology.
Organised by the Newark and Nottinghamshire Agricultural Society, you can expect to see the full house here, from tractors and combines to drills, ATVs, live demos, and more dealers in one place than you’ll manage in a season of farm visits!
With gates open from 8:30, it’s a long day on your feet, so make sure to don a decent pair of boots to walk the walk, as well as talk the talk.
Get Ahead for 2026
Relax over Christmas knowing you’re right on track with the big titles for 2026 already in the diary:
1. LAMMA and CropTec
When: 14th – 15th January 2026
Where: NEC Birmingham
The new year starts with a bang at LAMMA, the UK’s biggest agricultural machinery show, as two days at the NEC bring the whole agricultural industry together under one roof. Connecting farmers across a range of sectors, LAMMA sees pioneering companies offering cutting-edge agricultural machinery, technology and equipment, from the latest combines and kit launches to every dealer you can think of.
And it doesn’t stop there; for 2026, the industry-renowned CropTec is co-locating with LAMMA and Low Carbon Agriculture at the NEC, creating access to the largest gathering of arable farmers and exhibitors in the UK. By bringing together these leading agricultural events, this co-location creates an unparalleled one-stop shop for agriculture and an unmatched experience for arable farmers and professionals across the industry.
So, gather your team (or your mates) and get these dates in the diary for 2026. And if you’re travelling, remember to book accommodation early if you can, as it’s bound to be a busy one!
2. YAMS
When: 4th February 2026
Where: York Auction Centre, York
A one-day event with a big draw, the Yorkshire Agricultural Machinery Show has become one of the most popular farming shows in the North, attracting over 10,000 visitors every year with more than 200 trade stands.
Held on the first Wednesday in February, the show delivers with good access, free parking, free entry, great food and a buzzing atmosphere- not to mention the huge array of the latest machinery and equipment for agriculture, horticulture, ground care and forestry on show!
As the first big social event of the year in Yorkshire’s farming calendar, for many, it’s the first proper catch-up after Christmas. So expect a broad spread of machinery, dealers, and plenty of familiar faces at the February Farming Favourite.
3. Dairy-Tech
When: 4th February 2026
Where: Stoneleigh Park
For any devoted dairy lovers out there (and we don’t mean just enjoying good cheese), this is the one for you. Focused squarely on dairy innovation, Dairy-Tech is the place for those progressive dairy professionals to up their game in the milking parlour and beyond.
With cutting-edge technology, new products, and expert speakers, from feed and health to robotics and parlour equipment, it’s a real showcase of the direction of dairy, and well worth a visit if you’re looking to future-proof your dairy unit.
Offering valuable industry insights and innovations for businesses of every cost base and system, it’s a must-attend for all dairy professionals, regardless of herd size or system type. So, if you’re looking to get more from milking, go ahead and put dairy in the diary.
Plan Your November (and Beyond)
So, there you have it, November 2025’s must-see machinery shows, and the dates to get in the diary for 2026 with enough farming and machinery to fill your boots.
With that said, we leave you with one final word of advice: for long days hitting the shows, make sure you’re properly kitted out to get the most out of your day. A good pair of comfortable men’s wellington boots, a warm fleece or gilet, and a reliable waterproof jacket; here at Hollands we have everything you need to get you through the concrete halls and muddy car parks in comfort.
After all, the right gear makes a day of talking tractors, browsing kit, and queuing for those essential brew stops far more enjoyable!
