Leather Yard and Country Boots
Stay comfortable on your feet, even after a day of barn chores, with our selection of robust yard boots. Stylish but practical, too, they’re the perfect match for the stable and paddock - but look so good you’ll want to wear them everywhere!
Yard and country boots for smart functionality
For a busy afternoon mucking out the yard, nothing beats a supportive pair of knee-high country boots. Designed with a robust sole for extra grip in the muddy conditions of the stable and yard, and with specialist ankle support to keep your foot securely in place, these boots are a smart choice for equestrians and dog walkers alike. Cushioned footbeds - many with moisture-wicking properties - also keep you comfortable, even after a long, busy day on your feet.
In mid-calf and long length styles, our selection of riding boots are designed for year-round wear, with our long styles best teamed with a pair of riding tights or leggings, while our shorter styles work well with breeks and jodhpurs. Their longer design ensures they protect your legs from cold and wet weather, as well as the inevitable spray of mud and manure when in the stable. Thick rubber soles have also been engineered to provide thermal insulation in winter, as well as a sturdy grip on slippery and uneven terrain.
Made from hard-wearing leather, many of our boots are also supported by a fully-waterproof internal membrane. Offering reliable wet-weather protection, this ensures your feet remain dry and cosy - even in heavy rain showers. We also sell boot bags for storing your boots when they’re out of use and to keep them in the best condition for their next outing.
We know that equestrian boots can be expensive, which is why we strive to provide the highest quality products at the most purse-friendly prices. We stock all the leading brands, including Dublin, Ariat and Alan Paine.
How to make your yard boots last
Our boots are made from leather, which is built to withstand the yard, where mucky conditions can often leave your boots looking anything but new. To keep them in the best shape, we know that a little bit of regular attention will go a long way.
We recommend letting them dry out between use, but avoiding direct heat sources which can damage the leather. Using specialist creams to nourish the leather and keep them waterproof is also an important part of maintaining your boot, and will mean they lead a long and happy life.
