Smart and practical, the Baleno Kensington coat combines a waterproof, breathable fabric with stylish good looks and functional design to produce an adaptable coat for town and country. Rigorously tested by Baleno to meet exacting standards of vapour transmission / breathability and full waterproofness

The style is derived from the classic Australian outback Drover's riding mac or 'Duster' coat, a design that has proven its worth over many years, a style that Baleno have updated and refined for a more feminine fit employing modern waterproof fabric

The Kensington is designed to finish mid-calf on a woman of average height, providing the best length for practical weather protection without the coat restricting movement

The fit is shaped for a tapered feminine silhouette that is both comfortable and easy to wear, whilst avoiding the unflattering, square look of inferior alternatives

Full waterproof and breathable, the outer fabric is soft to touch and highly flexible, whilst also being robust and durable. Fabric is a textured Dobby weave in 85% polyester 15% polyamide, with a waterproof PU laminate backing. Fully lined - not quilted or padded

Two hip pockets with stud fastening covers. Two-way main zip with studded storm cover. Fully adjustable hood - detachable with stud fastening. Vented tail with gusset (– see images). Moleskin lined collar. Leather look trims to cuffs, pockets, storm placket, piping detail etc. Underarm eyelets to aid fabric breathability. Adjustable cuffs

One internal mesh pocket. One zip fastened Napoleon pocket within central zip storm cover for easy access to phone etc without having to fully open the coat. Detachable pommel flap covers and protects crotch when seated on a saddle

There is the option to add a zip in Sarah fleece jacket or Sally fleece gilet from the Baleno range, or you can simply layer over your favourite fleece without the need to zip it into place

True to its heritage the Kensington makes a perfect riding mac, whilst the waterproof spec also makes this adaptable coat ideal for a wide range of country activities. Equally the Kensington’s smart appearance means you won’t feel out of place around town

Length; The Length for all sizes from 6 to 20 is 47 inches / 120 cm. Measured from the base of the collar to the edge of the bottom hem down the centre back of the coat.

Sleeve length is 51cm. Measured from under the armpit to the cuff.

Features Overview; Baleno Kensington Ladies Riding Coat is a stylish and functional longer length waterproof mac, that is breathable and windproof, offering substantial protection from the weather

• Hard wearing, durable, robust 85% Polyester and 15% Polyamide fabric with textured weave
• Waterproof - the fabric resists water ingress when tested up 8,000 mm during Baleno's hydrostatic pressure test where a column of water is placed against the fabric
• Machine washable
• Breathable - allows body heat and vapour to pass through fabric so wearer remains comfortable. Tested result of 3,000 g/m² 
• Windproof - fabric's dense weave and laminate blocks wind penetration
• Taped seams prevent leakage
• Allows Baleno Interchangeable Lining System (I.L.S) meaning a separate fleece liner from the Baleno range can be zipped in for cold weather
