ABOUT THE SHOW

What is The Stalking Show?

The Stalking Show is the UK’s dedicated deer stalking show, and the one weekend a year when stalkers, keepers, and dog handlers from across the country come together under one roof. Expect two busy days of stands, stage talks, and getting hands-on with some quality kit. Not to mention some very good venison burgers!

It’s organised by a small group of stalkers, pest controllers and working dog people. Their motto is “Created by Hunters for Hunters”, and you can certainly tell. That said, you don’t need years of experience to enjoy it. You might have decades on the hill behind you, or you might just be curious where your venison comes from. Either way, there’s plenty to get stuck into, and plenty of people happy to talk you through it.

Stalking Show tickets are £20 online or £25 on the gate.

Live venison butchery and game cookery with chef Rachel Green and stalker-chef José Souto, plus the butchery competition.

Best-practice demos and panels on the future of deer management, led by BASC and The British Deer Society.

Why We're Behind It

Helping maintain and protect traditional British country sport.

Hollands started out on stalls at country shows, so having a stand at one again feels a bit like coming home. Even more so in Stafford, where Mark spent years visiting the poultry shows long before we had a stand of our own.

But for us, it goes further than that. We want to back country sports, and deer stalking is a big part of that. Good deer management keeps both the herds and the woodland healthy, and it puts some of the best wild food going on the table. It doesn’t always get a fair hearing, and shows like this are where those conversations happen properly.

That’s why we’re proud to support people across the industry who are doing things properly, including Chris and Rab at Outfitter Tales and Alex at Hunter Gatherer Cooking. You’ll find both of them at The Stalking Show 2027 too, so sponsoring the show felt like the natural next step.
