After years of getting to know you online, we're delighted to say Hollands Country Clothing now has a home you can walk right into. Our first-ever retail store has opened at Lowe's Farm Shop in Byley, Cheshire, right in the heart of the countryside we've always dressed you for.

It's everything you know from Hollands, brought to life: the same trusted brands, the same expert advice, just now with a warm welcome, a friendly face, and a beautiful backdrop to go with it.

Our Story

From Screen to Floor: Why We Opened Our Doors

We've loved growing Hollands online, but we felt there was one thing missing: a place where you could browse our range with your own eyes, experience the full ‘Hollands touch’ in person, and get the same expert advice you'd get from us online, just face to face.

It feels fitting that we've ended up here. Hollands started back in 1978, when our grandad Malcolm began selling wellies and country clothing from stalls across Cheshire, long before websites were ever part of the plan. Moving online in 2001, we built the business up from there, and now, decades later, we've found our way back to our roots, and where it all began, right in the same Cheshire countryside we've always called home.

Family Roots, Shared Ground: Our Home at Lowe's Farm Shop

We didn't want to open our first store just anywhere, so we're proud to have found a home at Lowe's Farm Shop, a family-run farm shop that's been part of the Cheshire countryside for three generations (sound familiar?)

It all started as a small veg stall on Crewe Market, run by the Lowe family, and has grown over the years into the farm shop destination it is today, without ever losing sight of the working farm at its heart. Homegrown produce, familiar faces, and a genuine connection to the land are still what it's all about, and it's exactly the kind of place we wanted to be part of.

You could say we've more in common with the Lowes than a shared love of muddy boots! Family-run, generations deep, and still with the same values they started with, today, Lowe's is home to a proper farm shop, Ginger & Pickles tearoom, a resident award-winning butcher, and a small community of independent businesses, which now proudly includes us!
