With a laminated polyurethane membrane, the 85% polyester, 15% polyamide fabric provides excellent waterproof protection. Further protection is provided by taped seams. A polycotton (65% polyester, 35% cotton) inside lining keeps the wearer warm and cosy. Preformed knees and a non-slip elasticated waistband, which is slightly raised at the back, ensure the trousers stay in place all day long. The zipped ankles give an option of using inside or outside a boot.

No fewer than seven pockets grace the Rambouillet Original Trousers. Small items, such as change, can be stored in two hip pockets with faux suede inserts. There are two buttoned pockets on the thigh that can accommodate a mobile phone, small tolls, and dog treats.
