The Monsoon Classic Smock is the bestseller and the obvious starting point — fully waterproof, taped seams, deep wired hood, the lot. The Monsoon Light Smock uses a lighter, more breathable fabric for milder days or more active use. The Cambrian Smock is the tough mid-weight option for hardworking country professionals.

Smock or jacket — which should you go for?

If you're getting in and out of the coat all day, a full-zip jacket is easier to live with. If you're putting it on at the start of the day and leaving it on through whatever the weather throws at you, a smock is warmer, lighter on fastenings, and there's one less zip for water to track down. Most serious shooting and beating types end up with both.
