Hoggs of Fife Kincraig Waterproof Field Jacket Olive Green / Large
A well made, quality coat that that is excellent value for money. A lot of thought has gone into the design and it is styled so that you can "layer up" underneath on colder days. I wear it for going bird watching and I have appreciated that the way the coat is made means you can raise your arms to shoulder height without feeling restricted. I have been out in the wind and rain and can vouch that the coat is both waterproof and windproof.

Lovely, lovely jacket! So please I have bought it.
However, A few days after I bought it, when putting it on, the seam in the lining split near one of the armpits. I had it repaired. Then a few days after that, the lining near the other armpit split under the same circumstances! I contacted Hoggs of Fife (the maker) and then Hollands Country Wear. The latter agreed to refund me and so I emailed them photos of the 2nd tear and the repair receipt. They duly refunded me, for which I'm grateful. The repairer told me that the reason for the tears was that the 'anchors' inside the lining, holding the lining to the shell, were too short. They should have been made longer. This lady understood the issue because she used to work in a clothing factory.
I am still very pleased with this jacket and intend to buy further Hoggs of Fife products.
